Born and raised in the South Bay of Los Angeles, John Patrick Gannon discovered early in life the deep connection we all have to the setting sun. “People would gather each day along the cliffs of Point Fermin to watch the sun disappear into the horizon. There is magic in that moment of transition from day to night, something soothing and comforting that human beings have related to from the beginning of time.” John Gannon’s mission as a lighting designer is to recreate that feeling of warmth and solace through his artistic approach to the illumination of his client’s sanctuary. John blends a critical eye with technical expertise to bring out the natural luminescent beauty of each property, from multi-acre estates to beach bungalows.
